A ring of human teeth, roots and all, engraved around the edge of black mirror glass and set in a bold black frame.
Molars, canines and incisors line up shoulder to shoulder to form a macabre border, like the open jaws of something waiting. Each tooth is drawn with its roots and crown in anatomical detail, and the centre is left clear, so your reflection looks out from inside a mouth.
Most engraved mirrors use traditional silver glass. This one is made on black mirror glass, which gives a darker, smoky reflection and a far more gothic look. The engraving stands out crisply against the dark glass, so the teeth seem to grin out of the shadows.
The frame can hang on the wall or stand on its built-in kickstand, so it suits a bathroom, dressing table, gallery wall, mantel or shelf. It’s a darkly funny gift for lovers of oddities, anatomy art and creepy décor, and a perfect conversation piece for a dentist with a dark sense of humour.
Precision-engraved anatomical teeth border design
Black mirror glass, for a darker gothic reflection than silver mirror
Size: 13cm wide × 18cm high (portrait)
Weight: 2kg
Black frame with wall-hanging fixing and a fold-out kickstand
Please note: product photos are taken under controlled lighting. Because black mirror glass reflects its surroundings, the colour and reflection may look slightly different depending on your lighting and room.
